Splendor setup guide

Set up Splendor in seconds: random nobles, correct gem token counts for 2 to 4 players, and a first-player pick.

How to use the Splendor tool

  1. Choose how many players are joining the game.
  2. Place the gem tokens and selected nobles shown by the setup tool.
  3. Use the first-player pick to decide who begins, then prepare the development decks using your rulebook.

Player count changes the gem supply and noble selection. The helper focuses on those setup components.

What this setup tool prepares

Splendor preparation involves a shared gem supply, a selection of nobles, and a first player. Those parts of setup depend on the number of players and can be prepared together with this helper. It gives your group a concrete list to lay out beside the development cards, reducing the need to repeat the same setup decisions each session.

Before you start playing

Confirm the player count and compare the physical token supply with the result. Set out the selected nobles where everyone can read them. Prepare the development decks and card display separately according to your rulebook; the first-player pick does not determine which opening purchases will be strongest.

Free to use, with no account required. Use your physical game components and the rulebook for the complete rules.
