Five Tribes setup guide

Deal a Five Tribes setup: the 30 real tiles shuffled into the 5x6 grid with 90 meeples in sets of three, and a shareable code to replay the same puzzle.

How to use the Five Tribes tool

  1. Generate the tile and meeple arrangement.
  2. Place the 30 tiles in the displayed 6×5 layout.
  3. Put the three displayed meeples on each tile, using all 90 meeples, then finish market and player setup.

The initial distribution creates the opening puzzle. You can preserve the same arrangement with its share code.

What this setup tool prepares

Five Tribes begins with a tile-and-meeple puzzle. The 6×5 arrangement and the meeples on each tile work together to create the opening choices. This helper displays the complete distribution, making it possible to prepare all 30 tiles and 90 meeples consistently or preserve that same opening arrangement for another session.

Before you start playing

Match three meeples to each tile and check the entire grid before starting. The no-triples option is a generation preference to choose before shuffling. Keep the setup code if you want another group to face the same opening puzzle, and complete market and player preparation independently from the grid.
