Shuffle a fair Catan board in one tap: balanced resource tiles and number tokens, harbors, a step-by-step setup guide, best starting spots and a random first player. Free, no sign-up.
The generator helps compare resource and number distribution. Starting-position suggestions are a setup aid, not a guarantee of winning.
A Catan setup combines three different decisions: where resources appear, which numbers produce on those hexes, and where trading harbors sit. Looking at those layers together is more useful than checking a single high-value number. This board generator lets you inspect the arrangement before anyone chooses a settlement, so your group can agree on a map before committing to starting positions.
Compare resource variety around possible settlement intersections, the numbers attached to those resources, and access to harbors. Check your selected resource counts and adjacency restrictions before shuffling. A promising first settlement can still leave a player short of a resource later; the starting-spot view is a comparison aid rather than a strategy guarantee.
