# Gaia Project map generator | BoardShuffle

Generate a balanced Gaia Project map: random sector tiles, rotated and arranged fairly for 2 to 4 players.

## How to use the Gaia Project tool

- Choose the player count for the sector layout.
- Generate a map with shuffled and rotated sectors.
- Place the physical sector tiles in the shown positions and check the planet distribution before choosing starts.

Sector positions and rotations create a new map. This helper does not replace faction setup or the remaining game setup.

## What this setup tool prepares

Gaia Project sector arrangement changes the planet network without changing the physical sector tiles. Shuffling positions and rotations gives a familiar set of components a different geography. This helper is useful when your group wants to compare the complete map before choosing initial locations, while still using the normal physical boards and faction components.

## Before you start playing

Match the player count to the map being prepared. Check each sector’s orientation before assessing planet distribution; a correctly positioned but incorrectly rotated sector changes the layout. Inspect the finished map before completing faction setup, and use the rulebook for all preparation beyond the sector arrangement.

Free to use, with no account required. Use your physical game components and the rulebook for the complete rules.
